About Me

Hi! My name is Adelynn Prushing and I grew up in Houston, Texas. I came to Kent State University for its fashion program after exploring my interest in sewing for seven years prior! After taking machine knitting class my Sophomore year, I fell in love with knits and the textures they bring to a garment! Then, I pursued the remaining Kent State classes that related to knitting and even interned at Knit Resort in New York! From there, I started my thesis collection all about knits! From all these experiences, I am focused on knit design, digital knit programming, hand flat machines and hand knitting. I love creating texture and design through various gauge knits in my work!

In the workplace, I am a collaborative team player experienced in both customer service and workroom management. I am a skilled multitasker, eager to learn new proficiencies, punctual, and a self-motivated employee who completes tasks efficiently without supervision.
